Hi, I’m Pastor Rebecca. ~ I have been serving
New Hope Community Church since February 2009. It is an exciting and
challenging job to join this small community of faith and to help
develop a new vision for who God is calling us to be. I am loving
every moment! I grew up in North Carolina with fantastic parents and
a wonderful older brother who still amaze and motivate me in my life
and ministry. I love to travel and learn about new things and I am
always excited to meet new people! Over the years I have seen beauty
in so many places and faces that I have only grown in my understanding
and love for all of God’s creation and God’s children.
I have found that God’s amazing love and call on my life has
given me more amazing and diverse experiences than I ever imagined
and that God keeps on challenging me in my faith journey by giving
me wonderful people to inspire and encourage me in the work of God’s
Mission in the world. I am enjoying getting to know a new place, learning
to garden in our community garden and meeting people who value living
into the questions and asking the tough questions. I would love to
share my story with you and to hear yours! |
